Sun SPOT and LEGO Mindstorms NXT

Some months ago I posted an article and a video about JNXT, the gesture controller for LEGO Mindstorms NXT robots. The controller was implemented using a PDA and the gestures were lines drawn on its touch screen. Presenting the project during the Java Day 2006, I described an enhanced version of the controller based on an accelerometer instead of the touch screen. Now it’s time to try it on-the-field with the Sun SPOTs, using a free-range module to drive the LEGO vehicle with “real” gestures:

    ciao! sono arrivato qui cercando il tuo nome che ho letto su un pdf, dove si parla di linux su pda… mi chiedevo se potresti darmi una mano per risolvere dei piccoli problemini di programmazione che per me sembrano enormi, non so a chi altro chiedere :D

    Grande Stefano! Stavo giocando con un Sunspot e cercando informazioni sulla sensoristica, e son finito qui.
    Vedo il Lego, la tua foto, e in qualche secondo mi viene in mente che alcuni mesi fa ho ascoltato il tuo intervento a frontiers of interaction..complimenti :)

    I’am a french student and I try to use your code to control NXT with Sun spot but I have all jar files
    icommand.jar
    bluecove.jar

    But I have problem to copile.

    Hi there I am also working on Lejos and sunspots but I have a problem on mine.

    When I import libraries for PC communication of lejos. sunspot connectors freak out and think that

    dgClusterConnectionReciever = (RadiogramConnection) Connector.open(”radiogram://:45″);

    this line is trying to connect to bluetooth instead of
    creating a readiogram

    javax.microedition.io.ConnectionNotFoundException: radiogram
    Could not init connection to listener
    at com.intel.bluetooth.MicroeditionConnector.openImpl(MicroeditionConnector.java:186)
    at com.intel.bluetooth.MicroeditionConnector.open(MicroeditionConnector.java:163)

    Any help would be awesome.
